Ecosystem Modeling in the South Central US: A Synthesis of Current Models toward the Developments of Coupled Models. USGS-SCCSC, 2015-2016. (Principal Investigator)

This project is to review the literature and synthesize relevant information on current status of ecosystem modeling in the US-SC toward coupling these models with other models to better represent ecosystem dynamics as affected by climate change and human activities; and hence gain more reliable predations of future ecosystem functions and service. This project will conduct a comprehensive synthesis of the literature and other information on ecosystem models developed or applied in the US-SC region. Special efforts will be made to explore the potential to couple these models with other models, e.g. climate, agronomic, hydrologic, disturbance, and economic models.
