Mar., 2010: Ph.D. in Geography, Graduate University of Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing, China

Employment
2005-2010, Research Assistant, Cold and Arid Regions Environmental and Engineering Research Institute, Chinese Academy of Sciences

2010-present, Associate Researcher, Northwest institute of Eco-Environment and Resources, Chinese Academy of Sciences

Research Interest
I have majored in Arid Region Hydrology since graduate, and my main research area is the moisture in atmosphere, including fog, dew, and water absorbed directly by soil except precipitation. In arid regions, which are characterized by dry climate, rare precipitation and vulnerable ecosystem, no rainfall plays a significant ecological role. My studies focus on its formation process, formation mechanism, amount and its effect on soil moisture, soil animal community, vegetation, ground water, etc.

Projects
National Key Research and Development Project: Stability maintenance and ecosystem comprehensive management technology of desert-oasis in Northwest China.(Grant No.2017YFC0504300), co-principle investigator.

Project supported by the Natural Science Foundation of China, Study on the eco-hydrological effect of condensation water in arid region (Grant No. 41171026), principal investigator.

Project supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China for Young Scientists of China, Study on the effects of condensation water on shallow rooted vegetation in arid region (Grant No. 40601016), principal investigator.
