Research Areas
Ecosystem ecology, Carbon cycle, Soil ecology, Global change

Research Interests
I am interested in the scheme of soil organic carbon decomposition and how global climate change (e.g. global warming) affect terrestrial ecosystem and land carbon dynamics. In the past several years, I am working on disentangling the process uncertainties of land carbon and nutrient cycle. I found the crucial role of microbe-iron interactions in lignin carbon decomposition and even soil organic carbon persistence.
