Research interests
Litter Decomposition; Soil respiration; Ecological processes; Effect of Global Change on litter decomposition; Carbon Cycle and Biogeochemical Cycle.

I’m interested in the effects of different forms of N deposition, especially the neglected ORGANIC nitrogen types, on ecological processes and thus soil carbon pool. The long-term (10 years) and different-form (organic and inorganic N) of N addition fields were set both in grassland and forests in China. My publications showed that organic N addition improved the litter decomposition in first three years, but we have no idea that how about the effects of different forms of N addition on ecological processes and also those on soil carbon pool in long term and in local or global world. So I will explore this research and try to get something new. I’m also interested in the relationships between the forest evolution and species secondary metabolites.
