Research areas
I am interested in carbon cycling in forest ecosystems, particularly subtropical evergreen broadleaved forests of southern China. The research topics I am interested include: 1) sources and variability in soil surface CO2 flux, 2) the role of microbial diversity in soil carbon dynamics, 3) the effects of climate change on carbon allocation and productivity, and 4) soil carbon sequestration and forest sustainable management.
